Cisco
http://i1002.photobucket.com/albums/af150/The_FalconO6/CurrentLogicalPCBuyingGuide/Guide.png Pretty much the best guide to helping you build a computer for the right price
GoCrzy
What you have should work together well enough, I am assuming you are going to use a stock CPU cooler and the stock fans in the case. I'd say maybe look at a better graphics card, take a look at the nvidea 450/460s since they are not too far above your price range and a whole generation better than what you have. Also, grabbing a radeon 5770 would probably be a better idea as well. Maybe a 5850 or 5870 if you are willing to spend the extra money. As far as your CPU, I am personally an Intel fan, but AMD will give you more in the lower price ranges. It is mostly personal preference, what you have should treat you well enough, but I'd suggest looking into Quad cores for a new build. Dual core is pretty much out dated at this point for gaming computers, although the higher end ones will still work nicely. And you may need more power if you upgrade your graphics card, not sure. Jake
That amd dual core should be fine, i have the same one and was able to unlock the other 2 cores no problems and its plenty fast, for me atleast
