Saved a life

Today I started on my new job in security, in a school for minors.

I was spectating the pupils and saw a crowd in a corner, a young guy of age 15 surrounded by a crowd.

So I checked out what was wrong over there, then I saw him sweating alot, I checked his temper he was all warm.

I measured his heart speed which was way to much for a young kid.

Then he started having several attacks, 'hyperventilation' attacks and cramp/spasm attacks.

I started making some space for me to handle a procedure on the guy, since I was the only one who could do CPR, no one out there could do it.

I have moved him on his side, and did some procedures, then he stopped breathing.

I wanted to do an emergency heart massage so I turned him on his back to start the procedure, but then he started breathing again.

My colleagues were having a hard time on controlling the sphere around me, then the paramedics arrived which took over lead.

I've done most of the job, and saved his life, he got better the paramedics told me that he was fine again, so yeah, that's my first day in the security.

I became a bit sick after I was done with him, but yea, I just realized that i saved someone's life on my first day.

What is your job?

I'm actually a nurse going to be Dr in the future. It does make you sick from the aftermath of the adrenaline...but that goes away after a couple more times of doing it. But you did a great job! I have worked in the ER and dealt with a lotttt...first time I threw up afterwards (well like 15 mins after). Its all worth it.

Hate to say. When someone is HyperVentilating It's LUNG PROBLEMS Not Heart problems.

I Digress Let us continue.

I Hate to say. That Hyperventilation Attacks and Cramps. I know it sounds insane but People with heart attacks. they collapse. They don't hyperventilate and have high fevers. Well maybe high fevers but I digress once again.

CPR On someone having an Asthma Attack..

Oh and Something i found.

An asthma attack is a sudden worsening of asthma symptoms caused by the tightening of muscles around your airways (bronchospasm). During the asthma attack, the lining of the airways also becomes swollen or inflamed and thicker mucus -- more than normal -- is produced. All of these factors -- bronchospasm, inflammation, and mucus production -- cause symptoms of an asthma attack such as difficulty breathing, wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath, and difficulty performing normal daily activities. Other symptoms of an asthma attack include:

* Severe wheezing when breathing both in and out

* Coughing with asthma that won't stop

* Very rapid breathing

* Chest pain or pressure

* Tightened neck and chest muscles, called retractions

* Difficulty talking

* Feelings of anxiety or panic

* Pale, sweaty face

* Blue lips or fingernails

* Or worsening symptoms despite use of your medications

Edited so the Bullshitting child won't cry.

Zinthius, You wouldn't know for sure if it was a heart attack or an asthma attack unless you were there. Also there are a lot of factors to take into consideration like the persons medical background, O2 saturation, pulse, blood pressure, ECG to see what heart rhythm that person has, along with heart and lung sounds, etc......

But my main point is why would you perform CPR on a person who is fully conscious? You wouldn't!!! If you had a defibrillator on hand you would stick that on the person's chest so it would read the heart rhythm.

I'm not going to get much more into it. Just not worth it. If that really happened or not it's whatever. The more I read that and Zin's post there are things that dont add up and a lot of red flags....meh w/e

Oh and you cant tell if the person is having a heart attack by measuring his pulse. It doesnt work like that.

I never said the guy had a heart attack.

I never said I performed CPR on him, I was going to because he stopped breathing as long as I know, but then started breathing again.

Hate to say. When someone is HyperVentilating It's LUNG PROBLEMS Not Heart problems.

Again, never mentioned any heart issues.

I just checked and i should have said issued him with first aid instead of giving CPR, i'm not known with the right definitions of that.

Heart massages are given to get the heart working again.

I Hate to say. That Hyperventilation Attacks and Cramps. I know it sounds insane but People with heart attacks. they collapse. They don't hyperventilate and have high fevers. Well maybe high fevers but I digress once again.

Yeah, um check above lolz

Hell, it looks like I am wasting my time on telling you the truth.

FYI, he was early 15.
