Scary as hell D: Also, emergency heart massage? Thanks, yes I wanted to run a emergency heart massage (getting the heart beating again kind of cpr) when he stopped breathing for a few seconds. Then he started breathing so it wasn't needed anymore. So yea, he's doing better now, thanks you guys.
Zinthius
INB4 Crazyhorse misses the point. INB4 I was talking about him not the "Early 15 year old". INB4 Heart Massage. INB4 Not knowing that checking pulse doesn't check "Heart speed" Again, never mentioned any heart issues.I just checked and i should have said issued him with first aid instead of giving CPR, i'm not known with the right definitions of that. Heart massages are given to get the heart working again. INB4 Double Negatives. INB4 Changing story to fit lie. INB4 Heart problems usually are caused by heart. well 1 + 1 =2 Mind Ya'll. But INB4 Heart problems are usually caused by heart not working correctly as stated by you. Inb4 you didn't even look at DrChristina's Post. INB4 You know, i went and researched something. Kinda funny. INB4 Campus's in the NETHERLANDS Have On-School Nurses. Oh and. INB4 Para-medics Coming when no one called -Whatevertheemergencynumberinamsterdamis- INB4 you ignore Others proving you wrong and taking random phrases removing the support and using it against people. So yea, he's doing better now, thanks you guys. INB4 You don't know what a heart massage is. INB4 Wiki: Massage is the manipulation of superficial layers of muscle and connective tissue to enhance the function and promote relaxation and well-being.[1][2] The word comes from the French massage "friction of kneading", or from Arabic massa meaning "to touch, feel or handle" or from Latin massa meaning "mass, dough".[3][4] In distinction the ancient Greek word for massage was anatripsis,[5] and the Latin was frictio. Massage involves acting on and manipulating the body with pressure – structured, unstructured, stationary, or moving – tension, motion, or vibration, done manually or with mechanical aids. Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, joints, or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic vessels, or organs of the gastrointestinal system. Massage can be applied with the hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearm, and feet. There are over eighty different recognized massage modalities.[6] The most cited reasons for introducing massage as therapy have been client demand and perceived clinical effectiveness.[7] In professional settings massage involves the client being treated while lying on a massage table, sitting in a massage chair, or lying on a mat on the floor. The massage subject may be fully or partly unclothed. Parts of the body may be covered with towels or sheets.
DrChristina5000
ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! Cardiac massages are used by either EMTs, Paramedics, RNs, LPNs (depending on the job that they hold), and or Cardiologists. They are not supported and taught by any regular CPR class and you would have to take a special cardiac class to be certified. I am certified thanks to working in the Emergency room for quite some time and Nursing. I'm not going into the disease processes involving the cardio/pulmonary systems. I'm just a newbie @ CPR and first aid, i did what i could okay. edit @ christina, he was unconcious when I arrived a minute later or so.
