RIFT: Planes of Telara is the next big MMO coming out in Quarter 1 of 2011. Closed BETA starts tomorrow Friday, December 3rd 2010.

 

This MMORPG has flown under the radar for the most part but its starting to really gain steam. Its team is made up of Devs who have worked on nearly every major MMO ever brought forward and the companies (TRION Worlds) lead exec is Scott Hartsman who started out as a lead designer on EQ1 and EQ2. Rift: Planes of Telara looks like a stellar blend of some of the best features of the top MMO's over the past decade, with a whole bunch of new twists. It looks to have something for everyone. TRION also has the major financial backing to complete its goals with the game. If you have not checked it out yet and are an MMORPG fan looking for something better or something new.... i highly recommend you check this game out.

Its just entering closed beta... so there's still plenty of time before its estimated release in Q1 of 2011 and this game looks polished and just amazing.
