Lax, I'm going to elaborate on your definition of ESEA.

E-Sports Entertainment has been around for a really long time. The level of competivness has always been there through-out league and pugs.

ESEA Offers 4 games ( 3 of which are played on a regular basis)

Team Fortress 2

and CS-Promod

I also believe they are releasing a Starcraft 2 Era

 

ESEA has an Anti-Client which is by far the best I've played on; so we don't need to be worried about cheaters.

The company offers tournaments, prizes for doing well during your month period of your subscription, and also random draws.

The Random Draws happen monthly and they give you ESEA Points that you can access from the store and if you keep trying in the challenges and gain more and more ESEA points you can buy new stuff...sick!

 

Personally I have been a supporter of ESEA for about 2-3 Years and to be honest, It's probably been the best money I've spent on this game.

You're paying 7$ a month to access 3 Games that are played regularly by people all around the world.

Unfortunately, I'm not 100% sure about TF2. But I can look into it.

 

If you want to play with friends and you are interested in being on the same team ESEA offers a ".group" command. This command allows you to make a tag.

When you would like to add somebody to your group you type ".add" NAMEHERE

 

For Example

"sH1fty : .group HG

You have joined group HG

HG.sH1fty : .add Homer[c]...(or really anybody you're playing with.)

 

ON YOUR SCREEN

You've been invited to group HG. Type .accept sH1fty to join.

Homer[c] : .accept sH1fty

You have joined group HG with sH1fty; ~ .

 

The only thing about the group command is that you can only group with three people, inclusively yourself.

 

There is also an option for Premium(when you've made a subscription) to have a scrim team including as many players you want for a 5v5 scrim against other teams (this gives room to improve as team and learn new stuff ON-Client, so once again you don't have to worry about cheaters!

 

In my honest oppinon, I think that everybody should invest in this. It's helping out YOU(THEGAMER) learn new things, meet new people; and better yet it's helping out the community.
