Christopher
The wheel on the bottom of my chair broke off when I was leaning back. The chair tipped back even further and then my weight forced the chair to fall completely back and I smacked my head off the floor and rolled backwards and hit my head again off the wall. Fun. There goes another $150 chair.. I go through at least one a year.

Awwik
Stop leaning back in your chair.....its that simple. Chairs wheels were not supposed to be off the ground, learn from your mistakes. Dumbass.

Chairs wheels were not supposed to be off the ground, learn from your mistakes. Dumbass. Correct me if I'm wrong, but at what point did I say the wheels was off the ground? With most modern office chairs you're able to lean back slightly still keeping all of the wheels on the ground. I'm in my office every day and I'm constantly in this chair working throughout the day/night.. I'm sure the plastic just gave away from constantly bearing weight. One of these days I'll have to stop getting the chairs with the plastic bottoms and get something solid that will be able to last me for awhile. Is this a real thread? This thread is as real as it gets.

Christopher
Why would you make a thread about this? Do you want us to buy you a new chair? I just don't get it. This isn't facebook or MySpace. The description for this section of the forum is "Post about general non-game related topics here". I'm pretty sure my topic isn't game related and I'm assuming from the other types of threads in this section that this section would be more of a general chat than anything. Therefore my topic would be perfect valid in this section and I would appreciate it if you would ease up off my back. I'm not trying to start any drama here, but I'm new to the community and I'm just trying to start some conversation between us. I don't really appreciate Awwik calling me a dumbass and you getting on my case about this thread. Apparently trying to start a conversation with members of the clan is a bit harder than I expected. How the hell is a newcomer supposed to fit in around here? The only real active threads on this forum is forum games. I don't know about you, but I can't get to know a person from playing a simple forum posting game.

Christopher
I've had this same chair for 10 years. Interesting. What kind of chair do you have? How much did it cost you? We have a ChatBox and a TS3 server. Thanks for pointing that out, but it's safe to say that carrying on a conversation through the ChatBox for an extended period of time isn't really the best option. Nobody wants to scroll through all the messages and dig up the history just to reply to somebody. It's alright to carry on a discussion in the forums.. that's the whole point of having the forums. That way it's easy to navigate through conversation threads with ease.
Spindrift
I'd say you joined the wrong forum for conversation threads.
Christopher
I'd say you joined the wrong forum for conversation threads. I didn't specifically join this forum to create conversation threads. I joined this forum to submit my application to join this clan. However, the main idea behind using a forum is to carry on discussions. Of course there's other means of discussion like the ChatBox and TeamSpeak 3, but that doesn't mean every conversation needs to be held in those two places. This is a general section of the forum for general conversation.
