Opening cells.

So, today I suddenly developed a hatebase (So much so that numerous times two people called me out for being 'retarded' as a lead). Why did I develop this hatebase? For opening cells. Yeah.

Now, I spoke to IPTRER on this matter, who is an admin, and he confirmed that unless the lead says otherwise, opening cells is not a slayable offence. So why was I slayed and teamswitched for opening cells twice? I won't go into details, cause thats for the admin abuse reports.

There is nothing wrong with opening cells unless the current lead says otherwise. Hence, calling a pool warday then opening cells all the while giggling like an idiot (which I decided to do because solitary wardays are boring after a while) is not against the MOTD or banned according to the forums.

Which in turn is the reason I was openly disrespected. For opening cells. Even though the lead had not specified earlier. Granted, they got wise to it, so much so that they even specifically said at every opening order "CTs don't open cells incase Mr Blue Sky causes a rebel". I mean, what.

So whats your opinion on this all? Should there be like a twice as long MOTD due to all the unspoken rules that appear to have developed?

My point exactly. I know all too often of leads who spend time discussing other stuff and end up leaving it to when the cells open automatically. I always make a note of opening them as soon as possible unless told otherwise, especially when I am lead. It makes the round go quicker.

Also, causing trouble? Calling a solitary warday could be considered causing trouble. I am doing nothing wrong, unless allowing the Terrorists a bigger chance to rebel is considered against the motd. I'm not specifically making sure they rebel, I'm just opening the cells.

Simple MOTD is simple.

There's no need for a long MOTD when people SHOULD have common sense. Common sense would tell you that you shouldn't open cells unless you are lead or are told to by lead because you don't know what lead has planned for the day and opening cells with no orders given makes it a 'no order freeday'.

Not only should you take into consideration that the lead might have something planned for the day, you should also take into consideration that maybe JBers come to JB to rebel and kill CTs naturally not just a 'no orders freeday' every round.

Many people are teamswitched because they don't have mics but a T does and the Ts are tired of free days. The same thing was happening with you opening the cells every single round.

Why would you complain about being hated when you're the one consistently pissing people off and then laughing about it?

Don't seek trouble then pretend to be surprised when you find it. You open cells because you think it's funny. Fair enough. But when people yell from their buttholes at you about it, remember you brought it on yourself. It's true, if lead doesn't say not to, it's not against the rules. However, if you're doing it and you know it's gonna be bad for you and the rest of your team, be prepared to face the haterade.

I pop cells during warday all the time. Why? Cuz haters gonna hate.
