5. Reason for ban: I was talking to Nick and someone else about HLDJ on Teamspeak. I was being a dick about it. There is no doubt in my mind about it. I'm just used to old JB rules where HLDJ is always acceptable. I didn't play for a while so when I came back, I was used to the same rules. I DID notice the new rules in MOTD and yet, I did go against them. HOWEVER, due to how other admins and other people have not had much of a problem in me using it, I didn't see it as an issue. Tonight, I was kicked for spamming, which led me to ask Nick about it, which led to me being a dick about it. I did say I was going to continue doing it anyways, due to I thought it wasn't a big deal. But, when I came back into the game, I saw that I was banned for 10080 minutes (1 week) for Mic Spamming. Although I was not there to spam, since I was on Teamspeak and all, I didn't see how I could have been banned right then and there. True, I probably do deserve the ban for being such a douchebag about it and the fact that I am guilty for playing HLDJ, but as I said earlier, I was under the impression that I was allowed. I did not play it at all after Nick said no and I constantly bothered him about it on Teamspeak, which led to my ban there and on JB, but yet I was banned for it.

 

Nick, if you are reading this, I'd like it if we could chat for a minute or two. I'm not asking for you to forgive my stubbornness or to ignore the fact that I have gone against the rules, I would just like to talk to you about it.

True, I do have many bans, but that is mostly because of Lazarus and my earlier days of not knowing.

I do know that when two Staff tell me something, then that is it. I'm just used to the old days. To be honest, I thought you were fucking around with me because most of the people in HG do. I didn't mean any intentional disrespect. I always "disrespect" others, but no one usually takes me seriously. I'm sorry for any misunderstanding on my part. I'm just used to fucking around with everyone. Also, I know it might sound like I'm making up excuses, but I didn't hear you say ban me all the time. I heard, "I --- the time", due to the fact that my friend was yelling in my ear on Skype and some on vent. Sorry for that. I also understand that I can not play HLDJ and I won't. But, I will have it on me because when I am muted or when I go other places, I play it for my own personal benefit, if that isn't a problem.

 

Look, I don't wanna cause any problems. I like this group and I always have. And I'm not just trying to be a little brown-noser just to get unbanned. I am just telling you how it went down from my angle. Sorry if there were any misunderstandings, but since it seems like I did go overboard from how you have said it, I was wrong. I won't question anyone again and I won't go against MOTD in any way, shape, or form intentionally again.

P.S. If you come into a channel and disrespect people you don't know, that is a very bad policy. I know that if you popped into the channel I was in and said something completely stupid to me, I would warn you. Then I'd ban you.
