The Banning admin: Nick S (or something close to that) 4. Your Steam-Id: STEAM_0:1:14473865 5. Reason for ban: Advertising I went to the chat and I wanted to know if people could connect to a certain server, to see if they actually could, like if the server even worked, I wasn't really advertising it. After I got ban I checked the console and on the chat the admin banned me for adverts but the time was "0". If I can remember right it was something like "!ban (name) 0 adverts". I don't deny that but that doesn't make advertising anymore wrong than if there was 1 admin. So that isn't really a good reason. I just read the admin rules and they do say you need to warn. It says you need to warn before even kicking, so logically you should warn before banning. * 7. If someone is breaking the server rules... -- 1 Give them one warning if they continue to break the server rules. -- 2 Kick them off the server if they still continue. 3. Kicking. # Kicking is used as a form of a warning. Make sure to give a TYPED warning first. If you kick someone for no just reason, you might be in some trouble. Kicking/ slaying people for no reason is admin abuse. If you are caught abusing your admin privileges your admin will be taken away with no refund and you will be banned from the server. So pretty much I get the same punishment as a hacker just because I typed something that is "inappropriate" i.e. advertising. Advertising another server (not our server) is very wrong and Nickkkk took the action that was most appropriate for the situation. Yes, you got the same treatment as a hacker because we don't like it when other servers are advertised in our own. Look at it from his (and our) point of view.
