TheSneakyGinger
during the summer i got the GT5 prologue and it was garbage, but i've whatched a few reviews and the gameplay and car selection looks good and everyone says the graphics are amazing, so if you own this game please tell me what you think is good and bad :
AnonyHorse
I think it really depends on what kind of games you like. If your into realistic gameplay and not just driving like a maniac with the throttle down the whole time you'll like it. The graphics are amazing as long as you have a TV that they can really show off on. The game is very technical yet it keeps the classic Gran Turismo look and style like the early days. ttaM
The game was good until about 5 races in when I bought a BMW M3 and ripped shit.
Weeman
its ok, was at a friends house and its pretty much like ttam says, that and theres a racetrack where when you come around a certain turn the camera goes behind billboards and you cant see your car lol. Arclyte
Gran Turismo has always been one of the most comprehensive "simulation racing" games. If you like tuning every facet of your car and really pretty graphics, go for it. Personally, I'd get Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit because I love driving as fast and as recklessly as possible. Plus, the opportunity to drive a Bugatti Veyron police car is too enticing to pass up.
xIFATALSKILLZIx
Forza 3 Shits all over GT5
Arclyte
Forza 3 Shits all over GT5 It also goes to say that 360 tends to shit all over ps3.
Geno
If your looking for a racing game I'd recommend the Burn Out series. It's like GT, but with more focus on knocking other cars off the course etc. I just find it to be more exciting.

Criterion (the creators of the Burnout series) made the new Need For Speed Hot Pursuit game. Its a little less about the crashes, but heavy on the speed. r3dm0nd
I've always had a passion for racing games since i ever had a ps1 and even with old arcade games. Now I'm not saying GT5 is the best as it could be better, but it is pretty amazing. The fact they they keep the game up to date nearly every week is pretty cool and they are quick to fix bugs. People complain about the damage system but while i havent played it in like a week do to heavy work load at my job. They are suppose to be altering it. Basically if you want a huge selection of cars and tracks and have a PS3 buy GT5, if not but Forza if you have 360. The game as much as i love it isn't worth buying a PS3 for but if you have one it will stun you.
