If you are having problems with Steam itself (not the games, but just steam) Please consider deleting "clientregistry.blob" in your Steam directory It can be found by default at C:\Program files (x86)\Steam\ or C:\Program files\Steam\ 2. If you are encountering crashes related to your game, try the following a) Please make sure you can actually run the game (check System Requirements) Ensure that your drivers are up-to date c) Verify your game cache files (see https://support.stea...=2037-QEUH-3335 for more instructions) d) Try flushing out your configuration file as it may have caused issues Right-click on the game you're attempting to play Select "Properties" Click "Set Launch Options", found under the "General" tab Type in: -autoconfig Click "Ok" Launch the game OR if you know where your configuration file is, delete the files in the [CFG] folder and Steam will rebuild it after you launch the game e) Consider lowering the graphics quality on your game f) Ensure that no extra programs (such as Torrent clients, AV programs [although this can be spared in most cases], browsers etc...) are running. g) If all else fails, reinstall the game This can be achieved by right clicking on the game, hit Properties, followed by hitting "Delete local game content" The game should subsequently be dimmed, reinstall it by double clicking on the game itself.
