BluHorse
Recently, my college's internet has gone from bad to terabad. Apparently they decided to upgrade the bandwidth, which is still low for a college, but have decided to throttle 90% of online games because, according to one employee who works at computer services, the "25-30 people that would play at night would take up all the bandwidth". So while i used to jump between 59-80 during the late night when the internet was hardly used by the majority of campus, I find myself jumping between 390-510. I am at my wit's end and am going in to QQ to them today. I was just wondering if there was anything I personally can do about this since they are dumb at computing services and all it seems they know how to do is fuck up pc's and connect mac's to the internet. TL;DR: Campus is siphoning my online games' latency. WHAT DO.

LazaHorse
Go to each and every person's room that you have access to and cut a 1/8 width slice out of their ethernet cables. That should plug up their bandwidth usage and give you more space. Also... you may need to hire a ninja... I hear Brag is of service. Wingless
I feel you. I was going to drop some money on a gaming laptop and get some CS in while I was stationed down here, but the barracks internet is so bad that it would make that investment completely pointless. I guess I'm going to have to wait another couple of months until I change stations to kill things with you guys. Table for sad, party of two.
