Ice Tea Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 When I hosted a little server for me and my friends to play on a while ago we always got that message, and then I went into the server's game directory and realized that in the gameinfo.txt the SteamAppId was wrong, after I fixed that everything worked. Maybe this will work for clients? (In the steam store it says in the game's store page URL what the SteamAppId for the game is).
