New PC

Hey guys, i got a few general questions to ask. I prefer PC gaming to consoles but the only problem with PC's is that when i buy a game they dont always work because my pc lags out way too much even though i may meet the minimum requirments. I braught this PC from packard bell around 4 years ago, only problem is i cant upgrade it because the bastards made it so the motherboard cant be changed around with new graphics cards :@

So i would like to know from the experts, correct me if im wrong here bu if i buy one from dell custom made, i can still upgrade certain parts I.E soundcards ect.

So what should i buy to play top of the range games such as empire total war and napoleon total war, on a decent leel without freezing like a old grandma deciding wtf to do :'(

when you go to buy a prebuilt machine look at expanion slots in the techspecs tab/section. You want at least this listed below.

Expansion

PCI Slots (Available/Total)

1 x PCI Express x16

1 x PCI Express x4

1 x PCI

if it doesn't meet these requirements it is most likely not upgradable on the graphics card or sound.

Look at this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229191

youll see a details tab. All prebuilt PC sellers dell/gateway etc will have something similar.
