Mush
So I am looking for a new computer and I saw this on Newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227320 Seems a little bit too good to be true. Anybody have this particular computer? I'm not really looking for a powerhouse I'm just looking for an upgrade that isn't expensive.
Plaayer
The PC is good, but not so future proof (in my opinion). What's your budget and do you mind making a PC? Maybe I can whip something together.
Mush
Eh I might just make my own. How much do you think I can save from building a computer instead of buying a 750 dollar Asus?
Darkwing Duck
Shitty processor compared to whats out now. Also you will save a significant amount of money if you know what you're looking for.
Plaayer
You can save a lot more than you think (or use the money for better parts). Guessing from the 750 dollar Asus, your budget must be $750. Also, do you have a link of said PC? I'll work on a build tomorrow, since I'm about to go to sleep. Do you have any preferred brands? RetiredTacos
Eh I might just make my own. How much do you think I can save from building a computer instead of buying a 750 dollar Asus? I'd spend 750$ on building your own, you can get more power for the $.
Devistator
Also, that NZXT case is shit. I have it and parts break easy as well as it having fans on the top so if you spill something on the case your computer is fried. Build your own, if you're on a budget get a AMD processor something that goes to a AM3 Socket so that you can upgrade it if needed.
Mush
Yep time to build by own. Hopefully I have a shot at that premium raffle for a Nvidia.
Plaayer
Well, I've put together a build for you. Comments and thoughts are greatly appreciated. I'll probably update this with reasons why I chose these products later. Note: If you do win the GFX card in the raffle, you can take out the graphics in the build below and possibly get yourself a AMD 1090T and a CPU Cooler, rather than stock. http://zhost.hellsgamers.com/u/8o/pc.jpg
AnonyHorse
Thats a decent build but a bit expensive. That doesn't include shipping which can be expensive depending on where you live. Also if your gonna put parts like that in a better case would be good to have. The airflow for that case is terrible. Other than that its nice...but I'm cringing at that video card. Get this instead! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121420
Plaayer
I have the case, and I don't have any problems with it. What case would you recommend? How 'bout the HAF 912? I have the EVGA 460 Superclocked Edition and I have to say it's great. I'm not sure what was going through my mind when I made this build. How bout this? $30 cheaper w/ MIR. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127518 Edited February 15, 2011 by Plaayer Wrong link. :/
