So.... What is everyone with T-Mobile going to do? Im waiting to see what happens, but I refuse to be with ATT if it comes to it.

Fuck AT&T.

"AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson said one of the goals of the acquisition would be to move T-Mobile customers to smart phones, which have higher monthly fees."

Personally, I have a no-contract, no smarphone plan. I dont like or want a smartphone, and they are probably going to disband the no contract plans. Fuck AT&T.

I heard sprint and t-mobile are merging.

Even If they actually were, they couldn't. They run two different radio bases in there phones. Sprint is CDMA, T-mobile is GSM. The likely choice here would be for Verizon to buy out Sprint, because they both run on the CDMA network, besides Verizon's LTE which runs on GSM.

sprint is better

OMG that is a total LIE. LOL. I've got Sprint and their customer server is SHITTYYYY. My Rumor 2 broke and I was basically on the phone with customer service for 3 days cause they couldn't get their shit straight. SO BAD.

My 2 year contract is up and now I'm debating between staying with them, since I get a little money off (50) for staying,

or switching to AT&T

or switching to Verizon.

I'm leaning towards AT&T just because Tech gives discounts for ppl who work for them & idk about Verizon. I don't want a fancy phone..just one that's easy to text on, so a slider phone.

Suggestions? lol. Sorry. totally turned this thread a lil

I looked at the 'Big 3' as it were last night, comparing rates and such.

When I got on ATT's website, and ordered a 'plan package', they would only show me smartphones, which required another $15 increase to the plan, making it around $80 a month. I hate smartphones and they wouldnt give me anything but.

When I got on Verizon's site, they gave me a variety of phones, smart and non, while the plan costed the same.

tl;dr Verizon.

this will actually be much better for me, since the merger will undoubtedly bring more phone choices and better service for t-mobile. i currently have verizon, and hate them with a fiery passion. it's not so much related to their mobile phone service, as much as fios. i know, completely unrelated since i have had almost no problems with my cell phone service from them, but as incompetent as they are in dealing with fios, i'd be much more content to go with t-mobile/at&t. contract with verizon runs out soon, so fucking glad to almost be rid of those fuckers

Every wireless company is the same. Everyone has a bad experience with one or another. It's like car dealerships, hospitals, department stores, airlines. EVERY ONE OF THEM has fucked SOMEONE over.

Op-ed pieces are worthless, lol.
