Kurosaki Ichigo
Okay so thanks to Tommo I finally got Minecraft to work. Now there is 1 problem that I would like help with. Everytime I launch Minecraft I get the following error Now if you cant read what it says it says the following. The application or DLL C:\Documents and Settings\Joseph\Application Data\.minecraft\bin\natives\OpenAL64.dl is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette. So what does that mean exactly? Please help me as best as you can. Thanks! By the way, I can run Minecraft but this error pops up everytime I load the game. Guest
i have no idea but googled it for you the first answer it gave was: Generally this error means you got the wrong version of the dll installed. IE you are running XP and installed one for Win98 and the one for XP is slightly different. Sometimes this is a path issue and all you need to do is to copy (not move) the DLL and put it with the others in System32

Tommo
in-game lag: did you try and lower your render distance? And disable some of the other settings i told you about? Because that should work.
Kurosaki Ichigo
Yes, but Im also thinking about switching to Windows 7 to see if it will help it any. And not just for minecraft but for other games as well.

Kurosaki Ichigo
Well as it turns out I found out 2 things. 1) The lag I'm getting is FPS lag, 2) You can check to see what your FPS is by pressing F3 for those of you who didnt know that. Kurosaki Ichigo
So does anyone have any suggestions or anything as to how I can increase my fps on Minecraft? I get roughly around 125+ when standing still and moving around standing still but when I move around my fps drops to 3 then jumps back up to 145+ and it does this for a while. Tommo
Well Ichigo and i sorted out the FPS drop issues with this mod. If anyone else experiences FPS drops/lag you should try this: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1032&t=132717
