Admin Abuse Report: 3v0

Recommended Posts

1. Abuser name: 3v0

2. Their Steam Id: STEAM_0:1:30842083

3. What server: CS:S Minigames

4. About what time: around 7.05pm UTC+10:00 (my time)

5. PROOF: http://zhost.hellsgamers.com/u/f4/screenshot_1.jpg , http://zhost.hellsgamers.com/u/oh/screenshot_2.jpg

6. Please tell us about the incident:

He used his admin powers to SLAP himself to the next level/area on his map after falling off of the train (area with the trains)(mg_saw_2_hellsgamers_v2). Refer to Screenshot 1.

An earlier instance of admin abuse of the SLAP command occurred yesterday on mg_bob on level 12. After he abused the command I called him a cheater in admin chat and he tried to deny it. Refer to Screenshot 2.

I inquired about the !slap command on TS3 at Help Desk earlier on when I first got my admin, and I was told that THE ONLY TIME YOU SHOULD SLAP YOURSELF OR OTHERS IS IF YOU'RE STUCK IN A WALL, PROP, ETC.

I have tried to tell him plenty of times about this, both in admin chat and steam chat, but he just keeps doing it. I don't think it's fair at all to myself or other regular players.

If he can do this, why can't others?

I didn't want it to come to this but I felt that I needed to.

I'm not asking for a ban or anything just yet; I just want someone to talk to him about this and what admins are and aren't allowed to do.

Thank you for looking over this.

1) Don't make accusations like I, and others, were mic spamming during rtv without proof; don't make accusations without proof period infact.

2) I didn't report them because I haven't seen them abuse there admin powers, mic spam, chat spam, etc.

3) Stop trying to bullshit/lie your way through this thread, I know the truth; I can see straight through it and others can to.

Why can't you just admit your admin abuse, apologize, and say it won't happen again?

im not gonna reply here anymore someone has to decide whats gonna happen

Shouldn't be doing it.

There is no valid reason for an admin to do that. It is unnecessary for you to do so.

Enigma has a point. There really isn't any point in doing it, although that doesn't really mean it is cheating though, just kind of an unnecessary action.

I think it depends on how often you do it, and whether or not someone complains. I know a year or so into the past in Minigames, I would slap myself and others (if they asked for it) if they had difficulties passing certain parts of some maps. I always made sure everyone was having fun though and if someone ever complained, I stopped.

Anyway, to a certain extent I guess it could be considered abuse. However punishable it is, I am not entirely sure.

Just keep in mind that he said he wanted to show some people the end of the map.

On the other side, Evo also has a point and that you are singling him out if what he said prior is true - which would make this report a bit unfair. Especially since he was only showing some people the end of the map.

So, if we aren't over using something and ONLY if someone needs help, we can help them out if NO ONE opposes of us doing that?

Because people have been asking for help on some bob maps lately, we(admins) say NO though because it could be a form of abuse, but is it ABUSE if it is to help someone else?

Just keep in mind that he said he wanted to show some people the end of the map.

Do you have any idea how many people have wanted to see the end of maps? TONNES.

Do you know how many people have asked me to SLAP them or use other admin commands on them because they couldn't get past certain levels in maps?

TONNES.

I have always said NO because I was under the impression it was against the rules for us to do that. If I want to see the end of a map, I "noclip" when in spectator mode

Why can't everyone else do that?

If we are allowed to give players "abilities" to help them get past or know the end of maps, PLEASE tell me because I have so many people asking me everyday and I always say I'M SORRY, I CAN'T DO THAT.

On the other side, Evo also has a point and that you are singling him out if what he said prior is true - which would make this report a bit unfair.

There is nothing "personal" about this report. I don't know him in real life or from a bar of soap (old saying). I'm just going off unbiased information that I've read in the admin rules and from what I've seen in-game.

And I'm not singling him out from other admins that I've played with; if I'd seen them abuse their admin powers I would make up a report about them also.

Just because I haven't seen them abuse their admin and I haven't reported them doesn't mean I'm singling out 3v0.

My point exactly.

Okay everyone calm down. Although slapping yourself to the end of the map is not appropriate, it is not for everyone to yell at each other and start accusations.

This is not how we behave at HG.

Artillary brings up an excellent point, you can always go spectator and watch the end from there, therefore slapping yourself is not a necessary means for your reason.

I understand people want to be able to see the end of the map or use slap to make it easier for them but sometimes if it is overdone, you cannot expect people not to complain.

However, admins, no matter who, should not be slapping themselves to finish the map no matter the reason.

This is not geared just towards you [Ev0] but to every Admin playing in Minigames.

Consider yourself and any Admin reading this warned.

To clear things up, I mentioned spectating to watch the end of maps.

That's why I created this report.

I will warn other admins of the Minigames server of this SLAP incident.

Thank you and I appreciate you reviewing this report.
