Your Steam-Id: STEAM_0:1:25656841 5. Reason for ban: I was told recruiting we where asked about it we then told the guy that its against the rules to recruit in your server he added us and joined outside the server and was asking about tags and how to get them on at this point he was a member and was not recruited with in the server I some what understand the action taken but also do not believe it should of been a ban since the recruiting part was outside the server. J3TTA Posted April 13, 2011 Share Posted April 13, 2011 So i have a second half demo of you telling him how to put the tag on. and when he joined the server he was just a random player and when i banned he was a uGx or what ever. so I'm pretty sure you where recruiting! so for your actions your whole community is banned. streetlife Posted April 13, 2011 Author Share Posted April 13, 2011 (edited) Wrong again he left server to talk about joining and then cam back and was a member and was not recruited in the server asking how to set the prim group is not a bad thing And with all do respect that is about all you could of gotten on a demo is me saying options multiplayer advanced. Please hear us out and I will gladly speak to you in person, or anyone who would need to be spoken to on the matter. I understand the strictness and prompt response to recruiting in other people's servers. I can even see how our instructing a new member on how to change his settings could be construed as recruiting. But the simple fact is we never once asked anyone to join UxG. We were approached, where one of your dutiful members promptly informed us that we could not speak about adding a member in the game. We told him to simply add one of us to steam so we could talk out of the server and in the same breath I also told him that we do not recruit, especially on other peoples servers. This was said openly in the server so as to avoid any situation like this that may arise. At this point he added me, I accepted and sent him an invite to our Steam group. Upon his returning to the server he inquired about how to change his tags and we replied. None of the HG members on at the time, or us for that matter, thought anything bad about his question as no rules for HG were broken. I don't want to get into technicalities and HG is obviously not forced to hear us out or even be concerned about a few people banned late one night. These are simply the things that happened, and I would have very much liked to have spoken with you before you banned me last night. You said something that I couldn't make out and I was then banned before I could form a complete sentence. Please, take a few moment to review the demo or other evidence and get back with me. We are added on Steam (at least as of you referring me to this link) and know that we'd like to join your servers again. We've put lots of time into them, gotten to know many of the regulars, and Street, Painless and I are all in your top20 on the office server as a result of the time we've put in. We're an open steam group of friends who play under a simple tag and if removing the person who asked to join is a helpful solution to this issue I am open to that as part of a resolution. In closing know that we meant no harm or foul and expressed that openly after being asked in the very beginning. We immediately respected your members wish to not speak in the server about anyone wishing to join UxG and informed him to speak with us elsewhere.
