Plaayer Posted May 4, 2011 Share Posted May 4, 2011 Hey guys. I got Garry's Mod, and I love the game, but I want to play. Garry's Mod only crashes when I try to join PERP, which is what I like to play. Anyways, it crashes at the exact moment of after the light blue screen says "Finished!" and goes back to the normal download screen. Then it crashes and the Windows pop-up says"hl2.exe has stopped working" and has the little close button below it. Can you guys help me? I really want to play. I really don't know what to do left, so here's what I've done so far: 1. Update ALL, and I mean ALL, of the PC drivers. You can check my specifications in my signature. 2. Several system reboots and full shut downs. 3. Clearing of system cache + Steam defragmentation 4. Re-installing, which I'm doing now. Solveitwithguns Posted May 6, 2011 Share Posted May 6, 2011 Plaayer is your Gmod installed? If so, then make sure all of it's folders are there. It would be easier to help you in TeamSpeak, so just come and talk to me like tomorrow about it and I'll walk you through it. Don't worry I don't walk you through like HP Support. Also to your original question just play single player for a bit before going to online. If that doesn't work when your game starts running again I'll walk you through through TS3.
