Divot.
Hey, just wanted to get opinions on getting an i3 or i5 processor for a laptop. I'm going to use the new laptop for internet surfing, school purposes, and of course Counter Strike. I just sold my old laptop which had an AMD processor. Of course i5 is better but will there be a difference in Counter Strike?
Plaayer
First, laptops are not for gaming. With that said, of course the i5 is better, not sure (no experience w/ new CPU's on laptops) if it would make a significant difference on CSS. http://www.notebookcheck.net has some great benchmarks on CPU's and GPU's, so go ahead and check it out! animeking503
i5 will get the job done. It'll appear as four processors in Task Manager. Its gives you the most bang for your buck!
Fushigi
Go for an i7, they are just better overall.

Mike is Fr3sh
yeah, overall the i7's are much better. I got mine oc'd from 2.67 to 4.2ghz easy. Not that you want to try that with a laptop!
