Dexter Morgan Posted July 20, 2011 Share Posted July 20, 2011 I just finished playing an hour long PvT where I surrendered my first two bases 30 mins in, expanded three times, and blind sided him with mass void ray while he was busy taking out my abandoned bases. I had mutas and brood lords with roaches, he had hydras, we attacked each other and both wiped eachother out, but we had both already had an expansion, so we were triving for minerals, he got roaches too, and kept harassing my rich mineral's base, I cleaned it out, he had spine and AA in his base so I went Broodlords, and he got corruptors and infestors, I destroyed his army and I massed hydras and mutas and broodlords and destroyed him... barly won, because he was destroying my base and I had a hatchery left with 109HP left... after I killed his army he left.... Icallhacks Posted August 6, 2011 Share Posted August 6, 2011 (edited) Just played a 58 minute long game, granted it was one that was not filled with skill, and a very little macro or micro. It was a PvT (me being protoss) on Narezim Crypts. Early game, he went mass marines/thors/tanks, which couldnt exactly finish off my zealots, stalkers, archons, because he was turtling, middle game, i had 5 expansions to his 3, and started going colossi and immortal, and destroyed his massive death ball with one base to spare, because his previously mentioned death ball rolled over 4 of my bases before I felt I had enough colossi and immortals to take out 100+ marines 1/1, and 1 thor...When I attacked it, it was completely wrecked without losing a colossi, because I had high ground with thermal lance, and pushed out to find the 3rd expansion he had, which had been producing the anti-air he needed to take out my colossi, which he apparently expected me to counter with. I end up massing immortals to make his anti-air worthless, and destroyed the fusion core I scouted with my observer, at which point he left due to me disabling 2 of his bases in the process.
