Solveitwithguns
I went on Minecraft today and updated it, and the screen just stayed black. So I X out of it, and Connor says I should downgrade, and gives me the link so I do. Once I downgrade it just closes itself, and doesn't work at all. I tried using In-Browser too. What should I do? BTW - Nether y u not on server?

Darkwing Duck
You need to update the texture pack, with every minecraft update.
Derragon
Duck up there is right. Texture packs must be updated to include required textures, otherwise the game just crashes. Also, if your MineCraft server does not have Nether, you must update your Bukkit installation (or enable Nether in the server.properties). A note for anyone who reads this: Do not build a portal inside of the Nether. It will cause an issue which will lead to all other portals being improperly linked. All portals must be made outside of the nether. If you have Essentials installed on the server, the /home command will teleport you out of the Nether (possibly very high above the ground, be ready for that one), otherwise you must find the portal that you entered the Nether with (or any other one). Cal45
Depending on your texture pack resolution, you might also need to set amount of memory that minecraft is allowed to use to 1024 instead of 512.
