VeN
So i was discussing with my friends on which is the best call of duty maker. Post your opinion on which company is the best!
anX
Both of them are killing FPS games as we know them. They will continue to taper the skill gap and spew out games that will kill all predecessors every year. And, as other companies try to copy them in attempts at success, the market will be flooded with poorly thought out games that anyone can "master." Treyarch supports dedicated servers and thus PC users, but they are just lazy when it comes to making their games. Look at black ops, for example. The AK47 and the Commando do the exact same amount of damage at all ranges. They have the same fire rate and same size magazine. However, the Commando has a faster reload time. That is LITERALLY the only difference between the two. In a game where you can just pick classes and don't have to buy guns like in CS, what's the point of even having the AK47? It makes no sense. Then they go in and put their timeless fake weapon stats in to confuse players. And it's pretty sad that the only one gun (the AK74u) is used in competitive play. Infinity Ward makes games with wider skill gaps (quickscoping, etc) and does put more effort into their shooters, but not much more. However, their lack of dedicated server support makes me want to throw up. They will also be charging an additional monthly fee on top of Xbox live for MW3 content. It will cost around $230 to play MW3 for the 12 months or so that its relevant before Treyarch comes out with their next shitstorm ($60 game, $7.99/mo for xbox live, $6 month (estimate) for MW3 service). Unbelievable. And we thought Valve was evil...
FDR
Doesn't really matter. Call of Duty isn't as good as it good as it was when they were making te WW2-era games. I still play it but I don't really care that much for it as I used to. Both companies are about the same to me.

laos
They both are in it for the money, They both have good stories and terrible gameplay (Aside from the linear perspective) it might as well be a movie instead of a game. I don't get what's so great about the multiplayer except that it's addicting, but you really gotta like monotony to enjoy it. No variety, no skill, no depth. Very shallow, Infinity ward USED to make great games, but CoD1 is the only one worth noting. All the other games were terrible.
