Nico Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 After i went out to get a friend and when i came back i couldn't hear a shit my headphones, i couldn't hear skype when my friends talk or when i try play a movie that i had downloaded. But they could hear everything that happend from the movie that i played. How can i change this shit back, i got no idea how this happend or what i've done to make it happend so please, what do i need to do to fix this mess. I tried to restart the comp. RetiredTacos Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 Check physical connections on the back of your sound card Verify you are plugging the right color from headphones into the sound card Depends on which version of Windows you're on, you may need to go to your audio properties and set the default device for recording and audio output. Darkwing Duck Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 As far as them hearing what your computer is outputting, you probably have "Wave" or "What You Hear" selected as your default recording device. In terms of you not being able to hear, I'm not quite sure, check to make sure you don't have your sound muted, also do as Terry advised. Darkwing Duck Posted June 10, 2011 Share Posted June 10, 2011 Bottom right hand corner of your screen on the toolbar there is an icon of a speaker.
