I mean, yes, don't get me wrong. His actions were unjust and stupid. Drunk driving is one of the most selfish, avoidable things on the planet. Either avoidable by better planning or better friends. Yet, not only did he kill himself, but he killed his friend. Basically, the only good thought this provokes in me is that he didn't hit anyone else. Ugh. Alright I admit jokes are a bit insensitive, but I have to have a sick sense of humor about morbid stuff in my line of work because I see horrible things all the time. Would everyone still be mourning Ryan Dunn if he had killed a family in a mini van when he was driving drunk in his Porsche going 120mph+? My reaction would be much more different if he had died from something other than his own stupidity. I admit Ryan Dunn was probably my favorite of the Jackass bunch because he seemed the most normal, but I have absolutely zero tolerance or sympathy for drunk drivers.
