Kurosaki Ichigo Posted June 24, 2011 Share Posted June 24, 2011 Okay so, I updated my CSS and when I tried to go into HG servers and non HG servers, I get a message saying that the server I am currently trying to connect to is running on an older version of the game. Is this happening to anyone else besides me? steam updates your game, and since your game is newer than the server version, you get booted. Isnt that great? Bellicus Posted June 24, 2011 Share Posted June 24, 2011 (edited) Simple way to prevent that Open your Steam Library and right click Counter-Strike:Source. Then select properties, and click on the update tab. And in the drop box chose “Don't keep this game updated” that way you can install the updates manually.
