UrShulgi Posted June 30, 2011 Share Posted June 30, 2011 It's a move to try and get more players for the next release. It kind of sucks now because all the newbies make the team dynamics suck. I'm a cp_warpath2 junkie, and usually play engi, and all the new players don't push or hold the front line so I end up losing my gear all the time. I went from pulling 400+ points before map restart to around 200 if I'm lucky. Also, steamroll wins happen a lot more now because the newbies don't defend very well yet and can't stop a push.
