Kurosaki Ichigo Posted June 28, 2011 Share Posted June 28, 2011 Well, lately, I have been at my friends house everyday after school and he has a PS3 and so does his brother. I have been thinking about buying a PS3 and buying Rockband 3 and other games. Once I get a PS3, I would like to start a HG Console Division. I would take the time to organize Console events and such other things. I would do everything from recruiting to getting people active on Console gaming. But, this is just an idea, not an actual going to happen thing because I don't know if I really want to buy one or not, but if I do, I will let you guys know. So, my question is this. What do you guys think about starting a HG Console division? Like it or hate it? Explain your reasoning if you wish to. F4ithl3ss Posted June 28, 2011 Share Posted June 28, 2011 The problem with actually organizing that would be that there are no teamspeak or ventrilo servers on console, there are no forums on console, so the only way we could have a "community" on XBOX would be to add everyone to your friends list. As far as I'm aware, there are no dedicated servers for most games on console either which would just make everything more complicated. Organize an event on the forums, everyone joins the game of a certain gamertag (I'm thinking 360 here, I don't have a PS3, sorry) and just use a party chat. You are right about that, alot of Console Gaming clans that I know dont have teamspeak and ventrilo and all they use is their website and what not. You are right, we could have an event manager organize a Console event. Like I said, this was a thought, doesn't mean I'm going to actually get a PS3. Thanks for the feedback though .
