Kurosaki Ichigo
Okay so this has been happening ever since I started playing CSS but never really knew what it meant. So I get an error that looks something like this: 67.228.181.66:27015:corrupted packet 1238 at 1229 67.228.181.66:27015:corrupted packet 1241 at 1229 So, my question(s) is this. Why am I getting this, what does this mean and how can I fix it. Thanks in advance. -Happy Gaming Kurosaki Ichigo
enigma#
1. Is it affecting your gameplay? If your answer is no, then this thread can stop. If your answer is yes, consider tweaking your rates and lerp. cl_cmdrate cl_updaterate rate cl_interp cl_interp_ratio
Kurosaki Ichigo
This does effect my game because it makes me lag. And I've changed my rate to 50000. What should I change the other stuff to? Do need any specific information? Edited July 7, 2011 by Kurosaki Ichigo

Bob the Android Penguin
Ichigo, I just want to go to your house and replace your computer, router, modem, etc...
Kurosaki Ichigo
Would be nice, but apparently, according to my grandparents, I don't need new stuff, what I have is fine. See if I had enough money to get new equipment then I would totally buy new stuff, but thats never going to happen unless I win the lottery. Bob the Android Penguin
K thanks for the 411. Anyways, any good recommendations for a modem/router? As far as a modem goes, we need to know who your ISP is because they will only support certain modems. As far as routers go, my personal experience is with the linksys wrt160n v3. It's an alright router, I upgraded it with some third party firmware though (dd-wrt).
Kurosaki Ichigo
I have Verizon FIOS Internet. But what I really want to know is if there is any decent router/modem I can purchase that will fix this problem. Well let me ask this, does anyone else besides me have this issue because I dont want to feel like Im the only one that has this issue.
