Corrupted Packets Error

Recommended Posts

Okay so this has been happening ever since I started playing CSS but never really knew what it meant. So I get an error that looks something like this:

67.228.181.66:27015:corrupted packet 1238 at 1229

67.228.181.66:27015:corrupted packet 1241 at 1229

So, my question(s) is this. Why am I getting this, what does this mean and how can I fix it. Thanks in advance.

K thanks for the 411.

Anyways, any good recommendations for a modem/router?

As far as a modem goes, we need to know who your ISP is because they will only support certain modems. As far as routers go, my personal experience is with the linksys wrt160n v3. It's an alright router, I upgraded it with some third party firmware though (dd-wrt).

I have Verizon FIOS Internet. But what I really want to know is if there is any decent router/modem I can purchase that will fix this problem. Well let me ask this, does anyone else besides me have this issue because I dont want to feel like Im the only one that has this issue.
