The first online game I played was Tribes. That was definitely the catalyst for me becoming a "gamer". Stayed entertained with all those levels of Bowser, until I got mad at Peach and refused to play that version again. Computer: It was Counter Strike beta, not sure on the version, I couldn't care less, and that was at a lan center that had freshly opened up. I was still pretty young then, to the point of not being able to remember. I also played... Blue Shift for Valve, I think? I think that was along with the CS beta as well. Then I was introduced to Legend of Zelda and Mario 64. Those were the days. The first online game I played (im sorry) but was runescape. I hated it and burned it out of my mind, I ran to Xfire to find popular games (this was when Raptr wasn't invented) and I stumbled upon CS:S, BF2 and Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. I tried to find these games in stores but sadly was left in the dust mainly because our damn town didnt have WAL-MART! During this time, i went to F2P games like Gunz and stuff like that. After about 4 years I FINALLY found CS:S in EB Games. I was like "AMG, THE HOLY PROPHET!!!!!" I went and got it the next day and played for the rest of the day. Maybe about a month later i also found BF2 and Star Wars. I bought those two and played them for a loooooooooooong time. I later found steam and found the motherload of online PC gaming. Shortly after, I found the existence of "Pre-paid Credit Cards" at 7-Eleven and Safeway. After that it was oh so easy to do what I do best.
