Please tell us about the incident: I warned him a few days ago that if he abused admin again and i would report him. Well a few minutes ago I saw him not moving in amrory at about 5:00 so i assumed he was AFK and moved him to spec. This didn't sit to well with him as he yelled at me in admin chat. A while later he began to abuse all chat, I told him to stop and he said (once again) in all chat "WHAT". The reason I had warned him a few days ago was for slapping himself repeatedly causing himself to fly around the map. I did not slap myself to fly around the map, I slapped myself to slay myself at the end of a round "When an admin uses his or her powers for their benefit only or when they user their powers against other players for no reason.". I was alive while the player "Yodz" was dead so i used all chat to tell him what to do because he was Freely Slayed by Mr. Derp because he opened the cells on a warday in the armory which apparently you cant do. The "WHAT" quote is a true mistake though because my Team Chat and My Public Chat is right next to each other and was a mistake that i will take as "Abuse". Mr. Derp continues to take everything to his own hands by switching me to spectator when i didnt move for 5 seconds because i was typing. He keeps using all chat to threaten to "kick all the CT players if they make 1 mistake" in all chat. I keep on warning him to just teamswitch but he wouldnt listen to me. I keep on warning him to just teamswitch but he wouldnt listen to me. !slay is there for a reason, or just type kill in console, whisper is there for a reason, there was a night where all admins were told by a staff member that you cant open cells on a warday (i told you that), and I switch AFKs to spectator because that is where they belong.... I did not fly around the map i was last player standing and i went to slay myself if you feel offended about me slaying myself then you need to go see a psychiatrist. In my opinion even if their was a way to talk to the dead (other then through steam) then it should be banned because of a huge amount of ghosting. The lead even told everyone that he too was also told about the warday rule. I also told everyone at the beginning of the next round. I never said i felt offended about you slaying yourself I'm just saying you could have just typed kill in console instead of spamming slap... I do now understand that whisper command or !psay is a admin command and im sorry for that. I could have typed kill in console but i didnt i chose to slay myself another way if its abuse to slay myself through admin powers then im sorry for that too. Artillery Posted July 8, 2011 Share Posted July 8, 2011 So really, from what I gather from the entirety of posts within this thread is that there was no real intentional legitimate abuse aside. You don't have to use commands to kill yourself, it's as simple pressing tilde, typing "kill" and then pressing enter - voila, you are now dead without the assistance of admin commands. As for the MOTD, that is handled separately and only a few staff members have access to it.
