Linoleum Knive
instead of fixing CS:S they gonna make a new cs -.- You dont remember the big update? It was fine the way it was before, for like 4 years straight, then people begged for new content, and VALVe gave us the 'server breaking massive update' Be careful what you wish for. Wabbit
http://www.gamespot.com/news/6328645/counter-strike-global-offensive-firing-up-early-2012?tag=updates%3Beditor%3Ball%3Btitle%3B1 a new entry in the shooter franchise that Valve completely overhauled using its Source engine. Now, Valve is updating its franchise again, today announcing Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Counter-Strike comes back to life early next year. Debuting in early 2012 on Steam (for PC and Mac) Xbox Live Arcade, and PlayStation Network, Global Offensive features new game modes, weapons, maps, and characters to the franchise. This will mark the series' first appearance on XBLA and PSN. Additionally, gamers will be able to be able to fight on updated versions of original Counter-Strike maps including de_dust and others. Lastly, Global Offensive will support matchmaking and leaderboards. Valve also today shared new sales statistics for Counter-Strike. The publisher said that the Counter-Strike franchise--which debuted 12 years ago this month--has sold over 25 million units. Global Offensive is currently in development at Valve Software and Hidden Path Entertainment, which also co-developed Counter-Strike: Source. Chicken Wings
If they don't add SDK support and make the game stand alone with no mods I will rage If they don't stick to no iron sites the game will be like every other call of retardation If they don't leave stuff like the buy zone ect. in then it will cease to be css Then again we aren't talking about the stupid ass developers of infinity ward here so i have confidence they won't buttfuck the PC community

Frostbite
Looks pretty sweet, but my main wish is that they include two things- iron sights, and better graphics. The graphics for CS:S are fine, but they aren't too realistic. And I'm not saying iron sights because I'm some gibbering CoD fanboy, I say it should be implemented for realism. The Prodigy
I cant wait for the new CS i even heard that they will make one for xbox with a Source engine?
Frostbite
Well, if they make it for the consoles, hopefully it won't be as bad as the Counter Strike for the Xbox, that game was terrible
SSM
Yeah, I read a few articles on this the other day, didn't even consider posting it up here, but there were some good feedback on it. I like not having to buy armor every round, the defuse kit idea sounds unique, but I think there would have to be more then one still.
