loosesausage
i use sound if you play a map long enough you can know exactly where people are based on it. feel free to spec me anytime it should be obvious that i am not hacking edit: i watched your demo and all those "wallhack" shots are all made from close range; its easy, you hear somebody from around the corner and then you line up the shot for their head at the point at which they come into view and when they come into your sights you shoot it off. now if i was able to make those kind of shots from long range all the time it would be a different story, short range is cake. FukLife
thats why he said possibly, i watched the demo also btw. And to me it does look like he goes by sound. But the people walking down long hall you barly hear when your on the otherside of map so im not sure how you knew everytime they were coming. BuLLeTz_FrEaK
well i do understand that people play by sound, cuz I do play that way too. But what fuklife brought up that is also my question too. People in long hall, it's impossible to hear unless your have a super duper crazy microphone that can pick up every bit of a sound. As i spec you, i also used my headphone, and i turned it all the way. Sometiems, it looks like you knew they were coming. Again, Im not accusing you of hacking, I clearly said you might possibly hack. If i was sure you hacked, then you'd be banned already lol. It's not a threat, it's a fact. So yeah wait for staffs and council confirm, and we'll know the result.
loosesausage
well im not sure what kind of setup you have but as for mine i can see a lot more than others as i use a triplehead 3 22" monitor setup (5040 x 1050) which lets me see my peripheral vision, also i use my dj headphones which were pretty expensive as far as headphones go, my volume is only at around 50% and i can hear people in the hall easily. the other thing i go by is radar and kill notices, like if i see an x on my radar by the entryway to long hall i know that there is an 80% chance they will go into long hall instead of going another direction. people love long hall so they are easily predictable. The source engine supports 5040x1050? Either way, doesn't sound like you're cheating.
loosesausage
source engine has native widesreen support im sure it goes beyond 5040x1050, i think in theory it can do full 360 degree view if you had a 360 degree monitor. triplehead is a device that you plug 3 monitors into and tricks your computer into thinking its 1 display, however it pushes dvi to the limit of its specs so it cant do more than 3 x 1680 x 1050. Btw, I know. First, I didn't want to post this request, i posted the demo on the admin discussion forum. But one of the staffs refused to look at it unless I used the template. So yeah, It's all good. =]
