Defiant Behavior
Alright, I know that my computer wasn't built for gaming but I don't have enough money to buy a new computer. This is my computer set up. HP Pavilion p6243w Desktop M2N68-LA(Narra5) Motherboard AMD Sempron LE-1200 2.1 GHz AM2 Processor NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 chipset 3 GB Ram 320 GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive Windows 7 64 bit I did add an ATI Radeon HD 4650 Graphics Card When I play CSS, I have an average of 40-60 FPS. When ever I am playing and I am around more than two people my choke jumps up to 10-15 and my ping jumps from 40 to 130. So I thought that this might mean that I need better processing power. So what could I do to fix this with this computer? Any and all suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!

enigma#
Awhile ago, I wrote a simple batch script to help tune Windows' in-OS network performance. It may help: https://hellsgamers.com/threads/30033-WIP-Network-Optimisation-for-Windows-Vista-and-Windows-7 You can search on the 'net a lot of resources to tune your computer as well. In-game wise, your computer is a bit weaker so I agree with what Isaac said. Lower your video settings as much as possible and consider finding a config that works with weaker computers.
