FukLife
rofl deffinitly fun goofing off about it but in reality west coast has not had an earth quake that felt it in 27 states as Virginia has 3 decades ago. Research ftw.

Research ftw. You obviously aren't taking into account that California alone is pretty much half the size of the east coast. The number of states doesn't mean anything. Chicken Wings
California=60% of the coast. If you include Oregon (Which did feel the last earthquake) then it's like 80%

BranHorse
about 4 times a year in school the fire alarm would go off and on the intercom it would be like "O NO ANOTHER EARTH QUAKE GET UNDER YOUR DESK FOR 3 MIN THEN GTF BACK TO WORK" feel a little shake and hope someone gets hurt so we get the rest of the day off. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsus/ maybe that will put things in perspective for some people. Rick
ITT: People from the midwest/east coast stating that we don't have many earthquakes and people from the west coast thinking those people are bitching about how bad the earthquake was. Trolling ensues.
Slophole
ive lived in many places..places with earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes (chased tornadoes as a part time job back when i was 19), damaging hail the size of a softball, floods, blizzards, typhoons, extreme temp +-...and still the only one that bugs me....frickin lightning. Living in the lightning capital of the world sucks when you have a fear of lightning. i refer to the lightning here as "death lightning" because its not like normal lightning...it will kill you if you go outside...err or else that what i think when i see it. dont get me wrong i love watching lightning and love the beauty of it. but at a distance. ttaM
lol California is not 27 states large........ I didn't say that. In fact I said the number of states means nothing, the overall land mass the earthquake traveled would most likely stay in California based in it's size. I understand that but what i am trying to say is ppl are saying go live in California for it's earthquakes. When the last earthquake that has happened on east coast that was recorded was the one in Virginia 3 decades ago that 27 states had felt it and California is not 27 states large so i am saying east coast has gotten hit harder then west at one point in time. Tminus
I hate these west coast comments people are making. It's like someone broke their finger and some guy came over and said oh dude look I've broken my arm before. And I'm like okay that's nice but my finger still hurts like shit. Just saying. Slophole
It seems as if any time there is an earth quake in California its like 9/11 and the whole nation feels it.
