bort Posted December 14, 2008 Share Posted December 14, 2008 buffy i really appreciate you helping by bringing hackers to our attention. however, i do not believe this player was wallhacking. he was just shooting people as they pass through the doubledoors. people do this all the time in D2; it's called "picking" i think this person has very fast reflexes but he was not tracking anybody through the walls, and there were a few times during the demo where, if he was indeed using wallhacks, he would have seen a few people that took him by surprise. but, to be fair, i would like somebody else's opinion as well before we resolve this thread. Buffy Posted December 14, 2008 Author Share Posted December 14, 2008 (edited) Understandable, to be fair I was quite drunk earliar and didn't get as good of footage as I had liked before I stopped. When I was first moved to spec(and before I learned how to demo) he was hitting people crossing from right to left before I saw them. I understand picking, but he was doing some things(like hanging around in the open while reloading) that any other person picking at mid would never do because a CT could easily step out and pop them. The thing that got me the most was he would re-adjust his cross hairs milliseconds before someone would pass and would make the shot.
