( before i start, sorry if i made a thread just like this, i cant see to find it, i dont think it posted :/)

Anyway,

Hello fellow members of Hg!

Alot of people heave beeen saying to me recently take 'pc gaming' is the best platform to play on for many resons, and i have notice that while playing CS:S on this laptop.(inteh hd graphics(intergrated))

So with Christmas coming up and i already got some money, i plan to build a gaming pc, for under 400 pounds. Sorry if budget is a bit low but times are tough :(

I need everything except mouse and moniter, as i plan to use a tv (and could you tell me how to connect the pc to the tv maybe?)

So thats the tower, keyboard and os.

Thanks!

hmm read this

http://www.overclockers.com/500-gaming-computer-recommendations/

another community im apart of. The list at the bottom of the page is perfect but i dont know a place to get them in the UK. So try to find those parts and see what you get

If you find the prices right you should be able to pull off

amd 6850/6870. cpu- amd phenom 2 955 x4. hdd-westerdigital 500gb hdd. 8gb of ram. If you cant fit it in your budget get 4gb instead. wont be able to tell the difference. Asus/msi/gigabyte mobo probably 870 chipset AM3. (bulldozer might be out by the time you buy) dvd burner, a case and 600w psu. (they are all the same just make sure it fits the mobo)

Some might say go intel or whatever but for this price point amd is king.

a pc like that should be able to max everything out except bf3 metro and crysis. All badly coded games haha.

is your tv a hdtv with hdmi? if so all you need is a hdmi cord and hook it into the gpu and tv. Thats it
