Metro 2033 help

[Rizon]

I try to play Metro 2033 and i get this error.

 

"The program can't start because PhysXloader.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

 

Thing is; I've un-installed and re-installed....d/l the physxloader from the nVida site and still nothing, i'm at a loss...

 

Any suggestions?

Metro 2033 sucks don't worry about it

This worked for me:

After getting the error, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\metro 2033\install

then hit the physx.exe, and it will uninstall. After it has uninstalled, hit .exe again and now it will install it. then restart your computer. after that go to steam and start the game there and it will work.

I'm not sure, if it's a dependency issue you can try regsvr32 to re-register it.

 

assuming your install directory is the same as his, run command prompt

Start -> Run -> Cmd

cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\metro 2033\install"

regsvr32 physXloader.dll

I'm not sure, if it's a dependency issue you can try regsvr32 to re-register it.
