Hey everyone, i found out i have the swine :(.

The doctor says im lucky because i dont have to be quarantined in a hospital (THANK GOD!).

It.s not very serious, i just have a sore throat, bad cough and a fever(100)

I can tell you that this is the worst thing thats happened to me EVER!

you never want to go through this.

100 Fever isnt that high. Abnormal, but nothing super serious.

 

Also its H1N1, not swine flu, to be politically correct.

 

Considering your base temp is 98.6. Or 97.6 for me.

 

I pretty much blame the CDC and government for this being blown completely out of proportion. You have a better chance of being killed by lightning after contracting smallpox than to be killed by H1N1. Terms like "Swine Flu" just create an artificial pandemic based upon fear instead of the disease itself.

This isn't as blown out of proportion as you think. The reason such a big deal was made is we had very little info on the H1N1 itself, and did not know how dangerous it was. To prevent a big outbreak like we've had in the past, you see the results of researchers getting tons of samples and findign out exactly what we have on our hands

 

And 100 temp isn't dangerous regardless. Won't kill you as all cells are able to function at that temperature.

yea im feeling a bit better...after 5 advils and 10 ten teaspoons of robitusson
