Isaac Posted October 29, 2011 Share Posted October 29, 2011 A single disc of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's PC version has been stolen from a Fresno, California shipping warehouse. The disc is only half of a two-disc set, but copies have begun circulating among pirates online. The stolen disc was Disc 2 of the set, and it isn't immediately clear which parts of the game it contained. One pirate who was allegedly caught playing a copy claims he was fined $5,000 and faces a permanent ban from online play. "Do not buy MW3 before release date. They will come get you," he wrote on Craigslist. "I already went through it." Activision hasn't commented on the theft.
