Weeman
A Buddhist is someone who practices Buddhism. Buddhism itself is the belief of Karma which to sum up for you is where the saying, "What goes around comes around" derives from. If you do evil you receive evil so on and so forth. Rebirth is another belief of Buddhism. Or you may know it as Reincarnation, the soul is reincarnated until it achieves perfection or "Nirvana" the ultimate state of being. There are Four Noble Truths to Buddhism as well: 1. All life is suffering 2. Suffering is caused by cravings or desires 3. Your suffering will end when your craving ends 4. The only way to achieve this liberated state is to follow the path of Buddha

Weeman
how does one become buddist besides rubbing his body and how does one pray you seek enlightenment, rubbing his belly doesn't do anything for the religion other then "give you luck" and to "pray" as a buddhist you must meditate, one of the most common forms of getting to that state is this To drown out the suffering of the world and to hear yourself is how you pray as a Buddhist

UrShulgi
If you are genuinely interested in religions, you should also look into Taoism. While I consider myself agnostic, my ideal religion would fall somewhere between (or hybridized from?) Buddhism and Taoism.
Watermelon Jackson
Joining a religion just so you can "smoke" is silly, Rastafarians actually believe that Marijuana is the herb of god and that is how they communicate with it I smoke regardless of the religion hahaha, my personal beliefs are a hybridization of so many different ideologies thrown into one, including Ganja being a sacrament. :]

Back to the Subject though Buddhist is very peaceful religion, and also I don't know why people like Mormon*ism but you might fancy that religion I believe it's peaceful religion like Buddhist but you pray different and its a different God all together
