Champ Kind
AP - The NBA, owners of the New Orleans Hornets, refused Thursday to approve a three-team trade that would have sent Hornets All-Star guard Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Lakers. http://us.rd.yahoo.com/dailynews/rss/sports/*http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20111209/ap_on_sp_bk_ne/bkn_chris_paul_trade
Jesus2
This is so stupid. Now New Orleans is going to lose their franchise player for nothing. If they completed the deal they would've got: A) one of the better offensive shooting guards in the league (Kevin Martin) one of the better offensive power forwards in the league (Luis Scola) C) A former 6th man of the year who can play SF or PF (Lamar Odom) D) A younger PG with good upside and playoff experience (Goran Dragic)

The Lakers are getting a good player but are giving away good assets. Sad part is NO is gonna lose their cornerstone for nothing now. David Stern already gets enough flame for having "rigged games" and supporting the Lakers would only hurt his reputation more, and like i said cancelling this stops Houston from making a huge mistake. Linoleum Knive
Thunder fan. Doesnt involve me. Let the NBA do what they want. The only way this trade hurts anyone is the fans. If the fans of the NOH really want better assets for Paul, stop coming to the games.

Houston winning/losing is irrelevant because they're not team owned. Deal got nixed because some owners thought NO was losing. Personally I thought the Lakers wouldn't of won the trade anyways.
