Roley
Hi all, I'm getting a new GTX 580 3GB, but i need some advice as to whether I should buy a new boxed card from EVGA or wait for my local store to come in-stock with ASUS' rendition of the 3GB version. Don't currently have a link but for those of you that would know about it, it's ASUS' custom make-up of the card including their dual fan cooling. The price difference is relatively similar, but I'd have to wait another month for the ASUS card versus 2-days for the EVGA card. Any pros/cons of getting one over the other? Thanks EDIT: PS the ASUS card is bot the MARS II ($1300) but another for only about $580.

^TheRumor^
Just go with a 580, you'll have no use for the MARS. Save yourself the headache.

RetiredTacos
Get the 1.5GB, the 3GB is a complete waste of money. That is all.
60Seconds
Yeah, but the question is I think, will that be adequate in a year? A few years ago, 128 mb cards could run the then top end games.
