Like most of you, i bought the game mostly for its online component but always get around to playing the campaign at some points - usualy when I cap my internet - and CoD 4, WAW have been okay, MW2 was awesome and dont even get me started on Black Ops. MW3 is in a league of its own. The story was cohesive and packed full of those usual "Call Of Duty" ass puckering moments like when the fucking Eiffel Tower collapses mere meters away from you. The story was also an emotional one with twists and turns on every level. The worst has to be CLICK FOR SPOILER When Soap and Yuri died and when Delta Squad sacrificed themselves. dorito^ Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 Agreed to a point, the campaign has got some good cutscenes and a reasonable story line. I believe they need to change the gameplay style, remove the "run 'n' gun" feature and actually have the players think about how they need to approach each major firefight. Another 2 hours or so extra would have made it perfect, but, multiplayer and Spec Ops makes up for it though. Battlefield and CoD are 2 entirely different games and are good fro their own reasons. CoD is more of a 'Micheal Bay' type game with huge explosions wheras Battlefield is like a much slower paced and more intense version of CoD, which isn't a bad thing Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The level transitions were a bit choppy, but, the levels themselves were very fluid. I could predict where we were going to advance next without Price screaming it at me. Multiplayer was a bit meh. Most of the guns look like shit to me but that's just my opinion.
