You can use it to abuse stopping anywhere including obstacle and does nothing to stop bunny hopping except makes me have to turn my mouse instead which isn't any harder but simply more annoying and I'm up for having it removed, One of my favorite quality's about the server was that it was so high quality that I could bunny hop without any server side lag or fps problems. If you really want to stop bunny hopping just set sv_enablebunnyhopping to 0? Basically +left +right stopper can be easily abused and solves no problems but creating annoyance. +1 if you're up for it being removed... although I'm in no position to say this, but this is what forums are for. Bonbon Posted January 23, 2012 Share Posted January 23, 2012 The +left/+right script I wrote is NOT to stop people from bunnyhopping it's to stop people from SCRIPTING. There are "perfect pre speed" scripts out their, which use +left/+right, and most bhop servers (including the HG one) have banned +left/+right. And I see no real way how it could actually be abused; If you use it in obstacle to stop yourself... you will fall in the water and die.... I can still bunny hop just fine, but I heard from JJK that there is a new plugin coming that senses bunny hop scripters so maybe we can get this back once that comes?
