Please tell us about the incident: I've been frequenting this server for the past 3 weeks or so. I was playing this afternoon when, for no apparent reason, I found myself kicked and banned from the server. I came to the forums to investigate further and I was able to find out that I was banned for apparently "aim botting". I filled out an unban request and also joined TS3 to try and contact someone for help. I have gone into TS3 many times over the past three weeks I have been playing here to get assistance with hackers and have worked with Scott many times getting those issues resolved. I was able to find Jessica who helped me track down the screenshot listed above and gave me some advice on what to do about the issue. The biggest issue I have is that I have been playing with this admin on almost a daily basis over the past three weeks. To my knowledge, I have never had any issues with him before but he suddenly feels the need to ban me. If someone is going to ban a regular to the server, or even someone completely new, there should be some sort of evidence showing when this alleged "aim botting" took place. One thing I have loved about HG is that every time I have had issues in-game I have been able to get assistance. This is the main reason I keep coming back and it will continue to keep me coming back to enjoy your servers. Thanks for your time and consideration. Jake Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 Seems he has a problem with banning a lot of people with the reason 'Aimbot' and never making a report, if they really are hacking or if he's just banning people for no reason. pagga1 Posted February 2, 2012 Share Posted February 2, 2012 Sure looked like aimbotting when i spectated for a while.....of course, if I was wrong, then I apologise..... I thought you were only supposed to submit a report if you banned people for more than 4 hours. I generally give a warning over chat, and then temp ban for 10/30/60 mins....
