Here are the specs he needs it for his work the cheaper the better

 

Operating System: Windows XP preferably but if you find anything else i can format and install windows XP

Minimum Memory: 2GB Ram

Minimum Hard Drive: 250GB

Ports: At least one 9 Pin Serial Port (It has to be on the laptop)

Need: At Least CD Rom Drive (CD-RW Drive OK, DVD Drive OK)

Communications: WiFi Capability

You're going to have to go with refurbished if you're going to need XP and a serial port.
