LazaHorse
Cho'Gath Guide for Racker Chogath is made to be a solo top laner, assuming you have a jungler. He is made to just sit in lane and FARM FARM FARM with his Q + W until his opponent's tower is gone. He can also jungle/bot support but that's not best for him. Take Teleport + Flash or Ignite + Flash and try and get a solo lane. Not sure how high your level is, but as far as runes, take Armor seals, Magic Resist Per Level Glyphs, Magic Penetration Marks, and Health/AP/Movement Speed/W.e you want Quints. Masteries you want to go 0-21-9 taking Summoner's Inisght, Expanded Mind x3, Meditation x3, Scout, and Runic Affinity in Utility. In Defense, take a good well-rounded set of 21. I would go through it all, but it's a LOT and you could probably figure it out. XD As far as items, start with a Dorans Ring. You want to rush a Catalyst the Protector and Boots of Speed first. Next item you should be buying depends on how you're doing in lane. If they're not able to knock you out at all (should be the case) and you're farming well, head straight for Rod of Ages. If you're getting knocked around a bit, shell out early (825 gold) for Heart of Gold before finishing the Rod. Next, finish your boots into Mercury's Treads and RIGHT THERE start saving 2600 gold to build Guardian Angel. You now have his core items. LOTS of health/mana with RoA, good damage from its AP, and LOTS of tankiness from GA and Merc Treads. Your last three items are really up to you. I usually buy Wit's End, Randuin's Omen (which builds from your earlier Heart of Gold if you chose to get it), and Rabadon's Deathcap. Other good items that you can consider are Frozen Heart, Force of Nature, and Abyssal Scepter, ALL depending on whether their team is doing a lot of Physical or Magic damage. Up to you in the end. Level your Rupture from 1 and finish it by 9. Get your W at 2, and level it second (by level 13). Get your E at level 4 but don't touch it again until you have to (14). Your combo is going to generally be land Rupture, silence them afterward with W, attack 2-4 times with Vorpal Spikes (E), then when they get within range of death by your ult, ult to kill. One REALLY important part of Chogath is that whenever his ult is off cooldown, use it to kill a minion for 1 more stack on his passive health boost. It's got a low CD so chances are it'll be up next time you need it in a fight anyway. I hope this all helped even if it's a bit of a read. I'll post later with my guide on Crank, though I'm honestly not too great with him.
