fdh
I'm moving into a townhome this upcoming semester. I need to get cable and internet etc. Two Options: Road Runner Basic Up to 1.5 Mbps download speed and 256 Kbps upload speed. (32.95/month) or Road Runner Standard Up to 7 Mbps download speed and 384 Kbps upload speed. (47.95/month) Which one will serve me well enough in terms of gaming, server work, downloading, etc.? Money is budgeted.
I Love Lamp
How many computer users will be in the house?
FukLife
lol for gaming. Well for CSS the Basic would be fine. But if your going to be jumping in the D2DM or playing hardcore gaming period i would say go with the Standard. IMO

vandium
Obviously go for the 7 meg. It isn't that much more a month. Fag.
I Love Lamp
The basic is barely enough for one, it's what I had in my house up until they introduced the turbo. 2 people splitting the connection would kill your bandwidth.
RetiredTacos
2, myself and my roommate You guys can't afford 25$ each for high speed internet? Someone needs to increase this man's council pay, wtf.

Waffle<3
Go with the Standard, but if I remember right, don't they have a couple more packages?
PitBull.
i would go with 7mbps. only about 10 more bucks each a month each. thats like 33cents a day. i think its worth it, you may regret getting the other 1.

PitBull.
15 more well yea, but i mean if they split the bill, its about 10$, but not even. so yea its more then worth it if you guys are splitting the bill in my opinion.
